Why I Am Called The People’s Poet

The title The People’s Poet is not something I gave myself, it was earned on stages where I spoke directly to the heart of students, leaders, and everyday people searching for hope. My performances go beyond entertainment, they challenge audiences to see themselves in a new light and to recognize that their passion is not a luxury, it is a calling.
