I Must Become That Which I Say I Am

Life Lesson 101:

A few months ago I was watching an episode of, ‘The Apprentice’, Donald had the group in the boardroom to discuss the day’s event. He asked a certain young man (who incidentally was not in jeopardy of being fired) a question, and the lad jokingly responded, “I’m not good with any of that, you know, I’M WHITE TRASH.” The ‘Donald’ fired him on the spot.

I believe that successful people understand (be it consciously or sub consciously) something that the average Joe doesn’t. Trump knew that words eventually manifest and even though the young man was joking, Trump (I believe) also understood that the subconscious mind (which causes our words to manifest) cannot distinguish between an ironic musing and absolute fact! People who have achieved some degree of mastery over their lives understand that the two most powerful words in the Universe are: I AM.

They Don’t Have To Believe In Your Dreams

Someone else’s opinion of you is none of your business and someone else’s belief in your dream is not a prerequisite for you to achieve your dream. In life, you’ll find that whenever you’re dreaming BIG, or engaged in any outside the box thinking, the first people to run along and attempt to kill those dream are friends and family.

I don’t believe that this is a malicious attempt to slaughter your greatness, I just believe that they’ve played it safe for so long that they cannot fathom any risk taking. Most people look for security, not opportunity. Study the lives of anyone who has ever achieved anything great and you’ll find that they were never security seekers, they looked for opportunity. Speak Happiness

Is it me, or does it seem as if more people are spiraling downward? It seems as though a lot more people are struggling to make their mortgage payments and their car payments. I speak to a lot of folks daily who are struggling in their relationships. It is as though they have jobs that are held but hated, relationships that are tolerated, their dreams have deteriorated, and overall they’re fast approaching a sense of desperation and hopelessness. I see folks walking around with a demeanor of disdain chiseled into their personality. So the questions are, why are so many people suffering and how can we stop the pain? I’m sure we can all agree that before we can heal the planet, we must first heal ourselves. Continue Reading »
